Easter In Lapland. Ostern in Lappland! :)

Hey,
da ja heute der erste Mai ist, was hier übrigens einer der größten Feiertage, 'Vappu' genannt, ist, dachte ich mir dass es Zeit ist mal wieder was zu schreiben! :)
Also, über Ostern war ich mit meiner Gastfamilie, einem Zwillingspäärchen und zwei Familienfreunden in unserem Ferienhaus in Lappland, in Ylläs!
Es waren wunderschöne, unvergessliche Tage, am Donnerstag Abend ging es los, wir sind mit dem Zug 15 Stunden im Zug gefahren, das Auto konnten wir mitnehmen. Am Freitag sind dann alle Skifahren gegangen, aber ich bin mit Paula und Kaisa Langlaufski gefahren, 4 Kilometer hin und zurück.
Am Samstag sind Jari, Iina, Terhi und ich dann auf Islandpferden ausgeritten, durch den Wald, zusammen mit einer Gruppe, und es war wirklich traumhaft! ♥
Danach sind Paula Terhi und ich noch auf eine Huskyfarm gefahren und sind Huskyschlitten gefahren, was ebenfalls einfach unglaublich toll war, am anfang war ich zwar noch etwas aufgeregt, weil es schon etwas beängstigend war den Schlitten zu steuern und zu bremsen :D
Abends habe ich dann Apfeltaschen gebacken, die leider nicht die richtigen traditionalen Apfeltaschen wurden, wie ich sie kenne, aber trotzdem gut waren :)
Sonntag waren Iina, Terhi, Kaisa und ich den ganzen Tag Skifahren. Es war richtig windig oben auf dem Berg und ich da ich einmal in Luttach Skifahren war, und ansonsten hier in Finnland ein paar mal in kleineren Skiigebieten, war es das größte Skigebiet in dem ich je war, und es hat richtig Spaß gemacht, weil man immer andere Routen erfinden konnte. Am Abend waren wir dann echt fertig und erschöpft.. :D
Am Montag Abend sind wir dann schon wieder gefahren, morgens waren Terhi, Iina und ich noch einmal drei Stunden Skifahren, als wir zurück kamen haben wir dann gepackt.
Die Polarlichter haben wir auch noch mal gesehen, leider waren sie nicht ganz so deutlich, weil es an einem Abend etwas bewölt war, aber trotzdem irgendwie magisch :)

Because today is the 1st of May, which is one of the biggest holidays, called 'Vappu', here, I thought it would be a good  reason to write again! :) So, during Easter I have been with my hostfamily, two twins, who are family friends, and two other family friends in Lapland, in Ylläs!
It has been a memorable, great time there! On Thursday evening we left by train, but we could take our car with us. It took about 15 hours to get there. On Friday most of us went downhillskiing, I was with Paula and Kaisa cross-country skiing, 8 kilometers with a small break.
On Saturday Jari, Iina, Terhi und ich went to ride on Iceland horses, together with a group and trough the forest, it was amazing! ♥ Everything was still white, covered with snow and looked beautiful.
After that I went with Paula and Terhi to a Huskyfarm and did Husky sledding, which was a bit scary in the beginning, because it was quite fast and we had to control and stop it, but it was so great and a amazing feeling! :)
In the evening I tried to bake 'Apfeltaschen' ('apple.bags'), they weren't as good as the traditional ones, but still good.

On Sunday Terhi, Kaisa, Iina and me went the whole day downhill skiing, it was very windy, but such a big ski area, that we could take different routes the whole day! It was really a lot fun, and in the end we were quite exhausted :)
Monday morning, Terhi, Iina and me left to go skiing for three hours in the morning, when we came home we had to pack our stuff, because the train left in the evening.
We also saw a bit of the Nothern lights again! :)
Thanks to my amazing hostfamily for this time in Lapland! ♥
